We love old things. We live in a nearly 100-year-old house, we own two vintage trailers and we love photographing weddings at Detroit’s historical buildings. Detroit’s boom years in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century is evident in its architecture. Fueled by manufacturing, beautiful buildings in Neoclassical, Renaissance Revival, Beaux Arts, Art Deco, Tudor Revival and more can be found throughout southeast Michigan. We were married at the Detroit Yacht Club, a 1920s Mediterranean-style villa, so we know, if you want to add a little historical elegance to your wedding day, the Detroit area has the perfect wedding venue for you.
